I love being involved in panel events, either as a speaker or as a chair - if you’re interested in having me for either, please do get in contact!

Talks

These visits are usually around 45 mins long, with a short signing session afterwards. I can of course adjust timing for scheduling needs as possible, provided I am given forewarning.

Typically I offer events to ages 12+, and due to medical limitations prefer not to do more than two sessions of any kind (talk or workshop) in one day. I charge in accordance to the Society of Authors, and request reasonable expenses (travel, etc)

Q&A

An open-floor question and answer session, where the audience is free to ask me questions about absolutely anything, prompting a varied discussion, often with surprising turns in the flow of conversation!

Wait ‘Til You’re older?

Is there truly merit in waiting to follow your dreams until you’re an adult? What even is adulthood anyway? Alternately, is there a cutoff point for reaching your goals? In this visit I will talk about people who have achieved their dreams young and old alike, and the impact that young people have on the progression of society when they use their voices.

Turning love into creativity

What is fandom, if not an expression of love? In this visit I will talk about the broad definition of fandom, the connections between fandom and creativity, and the many ways that love for something can turn into creating something uniquely yours that others will love just as much. I will discuss the history of works inspiring other works of creativity, including adaptations, retelling, and the ever-changing nature of storytelling.
